DAylight Crew
What it is:
- 2-hour weekly sessions with Coach Amanda in a team boat. (This is not a singles team and participants should be ready to sweep or scull based on number of participants.)
- Starts at 8 am or 9:45 am depending on published schedule. Dates and times are determined a few months in advance.
- Focus on improving skills and moving the boat, with video feedback provided.
You are a good fit for Daylight Crew if you:
- Are a BIAC member with equipment fees paid.
- Have 1 year sculling or sweep experience (exceptions with coach's permission).
- Are willing to either sweep or scull.
- Are flexible on boating and boat size, which will usually be multi-person boats.
- Have a team mentality to show up when signed in, participate, and have fun
How it works:
- The dates and times are determined in advance according to tides and Amanda's availability.
- Due to the inconsistent timing, check the schedule carefully.
- Participants sign in in advance (48 hr) with their intention to participate.
- Payment is per session, $28 paid through the BIAC website.
- Participants pay in advance for one or multiple sessions. No refunds, but funds can be applied to a future session if needed.
- No session charge if you are coxing
- Sessions require at least 4 rowers or will be cancelled.
- Team coordinator (Rachel) will track payments/attendance and follow up as needed.
