BIAC does not offer group classes during the fall and winter months, when the colder air and water temperatures increase the risk of hypothermia if a sculler flips. We want to get everyone on the water safely!
If you would like to enroll in a future class, please indicate your interest by signing up here. We will notify you of our offerings as soon as they become available.
Thank you for your interest!
Everybody Rows (eRows) is Level 2 Sculling technique and cardio for any BIAC member who is approved to row a sculling single (1x). Taking place Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:30 - 11:30, the cost is $25 per session for non-adaptive participation.
There are 4 open spots for rowers or paddlers not participating as rabbits. Join eRows every once in a while in a 1x or surfski, or consider becoming a rabbit (rowing guide) for a visually impaired rower. If you’re interested in rabbiting, contact Kerry Kingdon mailto:keahimalia@gmail.com.
Classes held: This is a five day session: the first class is from 7:30-9:30am and the remaining classes are from 7:30-10am. Sessions are Thursday & Friday (September 10-11) and Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (September 16-18). It's important you plan to attend all classes.
The $350 Learn to Scull fee includes the following:
Note: This class has a minimum enrollment of three and a maximum of six participants.
NO EXPERIENCED ROWERS (scull OR sweep), PLEASE. If you have some rowing experience and want to get back on the water, email Coach Amanda for a recommended path to refresh your rowing at BIAC.
