We will launch from BIAC at 11am. All participants should plan to be in open water or coastal shells.
The row is approximately 12km each direction (24k round trip) and will take approximately 3 hours. We will land across the bay and take a bathroom and beverage break. A coach will accompany rowers in a safety launch.
This event for exercising, socializing and plenty of fun in the water beyond the wires. Register now so we know how many participants to expect!
NOTE: Participants must be capable of 24k/three hours. Rowers must be comfortable in a wherry (open water shell) or coastal boat and must have a minimum of 1-year sculling experience.
Speed is not a requirement for participation but anyone significantly behind or struggling before we reach the wires outbound will be asked to turn back.
This event must have a minimum of 3 to take place and registration may close depending on how many boats participate. Communicate your boat preference to Coach Amanda via email.
