Coastal Rowing Expedition!

We will launch from BIAC at 11am and row to Belmont Beach in Foster City. All participants should plan to be in open water or coastal shells.

The row is approximately 12km each direction (24k round trip). We will land on the beach and take a bathroom and beverage break. Coaches will accompany rowers in a safety launch.

This is a free event for some rowing, some socializing and plenty of fun in the water beyond the wires. Register now so coaches know how many participants to expect!

NOTE: Participants must have a minimum of 1-year sculling experience, be comfortable in a wherry (open water shell) and capable of rowing 24k. Speed is not a requirement for participation but any rowers significantly behind or struggling before we reach the wires outbound will be asked to turn back.
