As a part of our Summer of Solo Boats, BIAC membership now includes access to SUPs and Kayaks.
You MUST take an orientation before using the equipment. (A previous rental session does not count as an orientation.)

This class is free to BIAC members, not open to the general public.
What's covered
Kayak and SUP orientation covers: storage, how to use the equipment, safety, traffic pattern and use priority.
To get certified after learning the basics, you will need to demonstrate how to enter and exit properly (launch and dock), boat handling, and how to get back in/on the craft from the water.
What to bring
BIAC will provide paddles and craft.
YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN PFD. Due to strict cleaning policies, we cannot allow you to share PFDs.
We will be going on the water so come dressed for paddling, bring a towel, and PFD.
Where and when to meet
We will meet on the deck in the main yard.
Session 1 will be held 10am - Noon, Saturday May 30th, 2020.
